They, You, Love and Change

They will enter into your life to show you how to love. They’ll make you open up, revealing a part that you kept locked and buried deep inside yourself. They’ll show true joy and happiness. They’ll show what it feels like to be truly loved.
For a time being, you will feel they’re the most important people in your life.
You’ll be convinced that you know them entirely, and that they are *your* kind of people.
All of a sudden, you’ll learn something new about them; you’ll end up questioning everything you knew about them before.
It’ll end up showing who they were and what they really are.
You no longer know the person.
You learn something new about someone, and that changes EVERYTHING.
Then you’ll start noticing how they try to change themselves for you or perhaps to manipulate you (still, it’s for you); yet they can’t change who they are. No one can. But still, they try…
Then you look in the mirror; you no longer know the person you see. Yes, you changed yourself as well—for them, for you—yet no one can, not even you.
In the end, no one can. Maybe loving means triggering changes in one another. Maybe it is love that should change, from change to acceptance.
